The room is dimly lit, with a vintage clock ticking on the wall. The TV is playing a news report about time travel.
NEWS ANCHOR
Breaking news! Scientists have discovered a mysterious portal that allows people to travel through time. Will this be the greatest breakthrough of our generation?
CUT TO:
INT. KITCHEN – DAY
MARY, a curious and adventurous young woman in her 20s, is watching the news with excitement. She grabs a notepad and scribbles some ideas.
MARY (to herself)
Imagine all the places I could visit if time travel were possible. I need to find that portal!
Suddenly, the clock ticks louder and emits a strange glow. Mary’s eyes widen with anticipation.
EXT. PARK – DAY
Mary rushes outside and heads towards a nearby park, following a map she found online.
CUT TO:
INT. PARK – DAY
Mary spots an old tree with a hidden doorway. She hesitates for a moment, then takes a deep breath, and steps through.
INT. MEDIEVAL TIMES – DAY
Mary finds herself in a bustling medieval village. People are dressed in elaborate costumes, and horses trot by.
MARY (whispering)
Wow, this is incredible!
She explores the village, taking in the sights and sounds of a different era.
EXT. FOREST – DAY
As Mary ventures further, she stumbles upon a group of knights preparing for battle.
KNIGHT #1
Halt! Who goes there?
MARY
(nervously)
Um… I’m just a traveler who got lost.
KNIGHT #2
(shaking his head)
Lost? In these parts? You must be brave or foolish. Either way, join us. We need all the help we can get.
CUT TO:
EXT. BATTLEFIELD – DAY
The battle ensues, with swords clashing and arrows flying. Mary fights alongside the knights, displaying surprising strength and agility.
MARY (VO)
Who would’ve thought time travel could turn me into a warrior?
As the dust settles, Mary looks around her, proud and exhilarated.
CUT TO:
INT. LIVING ROOM – DAY
Mary’s alarm clock rings, waking her up from her daydream. She realizes it was all just a vivid imagination.
MARY (sighing)
Back to reality, I guess.
EXT. STREET – DAY
Mary walks outside, now inspired to make the most of every moment and create her own adventures.
